The harbour side is the room to ask for
We had a family of four on the Kivukoni side. The morning noise was the port, not the corridor, and breakfast had enough room that the children were not in anyone's way.

Right for one night before the flight
Check-in was quick after a delayed Nairobi connection. The room was quiet enough to sleep, and the car to the airport left when they said it would.

Staff treated a late arrival as normal
We landed after midnight and the desk already had the booking pulled up. The pool the next afternoon was the reset we needed before Zanzibar.
