What we keep

When someone creates an account, we keep the name and email, and we send a verification email. A traveler account also keeps the nationality. The password is stored only as a hash. A company account also keeps the listing: the kind of place, the country, the city, the public name, the location, the phone number, an optional website, the price guide, the facts, and the bio. A restaurant can also keep its menu. A review can include up to three photos.

A review keeps the writer’s name, the scores, the title, the text, the month of the trip, and the traveler type. A hotel or tour review also keeps the yes or no on recommending them. A review can be written without an account.

We also keep a helpful vote and a company’s public reply. When someone pays for a feature or a promotion, we keep the record of that payment. A vote is never a payment.

Where it stays

novarasoftware.ai keeps accounts, reviews, votes, replies, listings, menus, review photos, and reports in its database. Passwords are stored as a hash. They are not kept in this browser, and API keys are not stored in the browser.

What we do not do

novarasoftware.ai does not sell this information. novarasoftware.ai does not charge a user to vote, and a vote cannot be bought.

The map

When a map is shown, the place name and location are sent to Google so the map can load.
